Vince Gill, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, and Morgane Stapleton Heal The Music Day, in honour of Rodney Crowell

The fifth annual Heal The Music Day, organised by pioneering country and Americana musician Rodney Crowell, will take place on October 21 and will feature participation from significant celebrities including Chris Stapleton, his wife Morgane, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, and Keith Urban. The day, which will raise awareness and money for Music Health Alliance, will also include contemporary Christian singer-songwriter Lauren Daigle (MHA).Launched in 2017, Heal The Music Day provides for the urgent and ongoing medical requirements of the artistic community. 76% of those in the music industry are self-employed or work for small businesses, and many of them have inadequate or no health insurance.

The majority of us take for granted having good health in the realm of the working musician, claims Crowell. “Until something goes wrong, that is. No music professional has to deal with a healthcare problem alone thanks to MHA’s healthcare advocates. The best aspect is that music creators don’t need to do anything additional to what they are already doing in order to assist MHA’s efforts to heal the music. For Heal The Music Day on October 21, pledges can be as straightforward as a percentage of a performance, event, creative endeavour, or one-time gift.
