This week, Nicki Minaj’s Barbz following began trending on social media once more after launching an offensive against the rapper’s detractors. Due to the chaotic nature of internet beefs, we will break everything down for you.
On September 12, cultural commentator Kimberly Nicole Foster tweeted that Barbz is a “terrible person,” to which Barbz replied with ominous posts and texts, which Foster has publicly documented.
Foster has previously blasted Minaj and her supporters, though he has not yet provided a response to a request for comment. In a YouTube video, she said that she made the decision to write about Minaj after observing the artist expressing “nastiness on social media” and making offensive remarks on her Amp radio show.
Foster tweeted that she was considering filing a lawsuit to stop the harassment, but no case has yet been started. Additionally, she documented numerous instances of attempted doxxing and death threats and addressed at least one admirer about their actions on Twitter.
