In Ant-Man and the Wasp, Tom Hiddleston responds to Paul Rudd’s conflict with the villainous Kang by saying, “Don’t allow him into the TVA.”

Kang the Conqueror will assume the role of one of the most infamous villains in the annals of comic book movies in Phases 5 and 6 of the MCU. He will provide some severe challenges for the MCU’s smallest Avengers in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the following year, before acting as the primary antagonist in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in 2025 and having a role in Loki Season 2 in 2023.

He Who Explains, one of Kang’s many incarnations, revealed his true intentions toward the Time Variance Authority in the last episode of Loki Season 1, giving the MCU its first taste of Kang. The Multiverse went into utter disorder when Sylvie murdered him, which provided as the justification for all of his time- and space-traveling mayhem that will lead the series to falter over the following few years.
